Animated Study House - You can learn Kanji the way that elementary Japanese kids learn it. Nippon Voice Blog - This is a great way to learn Japanese and traditions at the same time. I like to copy and paste the the Japanese text onto Word, increase the font size, and then read along with the MP3 file. If you haveFacebook, I recommend the Kanji application to help you prepare for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) that takes place every December in major cities.
Japan E.S.L. Job Links Jobdine - a good jobsite. Nova is No-More - The biggest ESL franchise in history goes bankrupt. 5000 teachers out of a job. http://www.jetprogramme.org/ - This is an amazing opportunity that can change your life. It is by the far the best way to teach E.S.L. in Japan for the first time. You work for the Japanese government, teach in public schools, get loads of perks and benefits, and have tons of free time. I was in this program for three years. For CAD$20, if you would like to know more about how to apply please, or if you want guidance about Japan and different ways to get jobs, I will phone you. Advice about Japan http://careers.gaba.co.jp/ - This E.S.L. chain, mainly in Tokyo, is as manufactured as they come. One on one teaching with about 8 students each evening. If you are a native English speaker, you have a B.A. and a pulse, they will hire you. I kind of felt like a robot after 6 months in Tokyo, but I met a lot of very interesting students - business people, department store sales people, used car salesmen, doctors, government officials, mostly on their way home from work. I got a job here after three days of arriving in Tokyo - that's after finding a place to live. If you want to hear about how to find a place to live in Tokyo I will tell you as well.

Advice about E.S.L academies in Vancouver - If you want to find a school in Vancouver, contact me. I was a former guidance counselor, but I quit because I thought my counseling office was too business-like. I just wanted to give friendly advice, but it seemed like I was always pushed to recommend schools that pay high commissions. I did not want to do that – I felt like a fake. Anyway, let me tell you my ideas about different schools in Vancouver and I will try to help you as much as I can.
You can call me at 604-261-9617 in Vancouver, I can call you if you email me your number, or I can email back to you. Thank-you very much,
