If you're living in Vancouver, the Education Section of Craig's List always has job postings. Schools also advertise positions on the Government of Canada's Job Bank. If you create an RSS Search Feed from this site, you can tailor your feed to search for special jobs. This feed will give you a constantly updating list of jobs that you access on your toolbar. The Vancouver Public Library provides a comprehensive list of private English academies in Vancouver that you can use to apply to individual schools. The Canada Language Council also provides a list of approved ESL schools in Vancouver. Government Sponsored English Language Services for Adults (ELSA) has many schools in the Lower Mainland. Many schools prefer or require some sort of TESL certification. TESL.CA provides a list of schools that provide professional Teach English as a Second Language certification. TESL Canada has job postings and links to TESL Canada's provincial sites, such as BC TEAL.
